Finally Champions! The Phoenix Suns Bring Home the jr.NBA Championship Title

What a historic milestone for our club and youth basketball in Hamburg! After six years of relentless dedication, countless training sessions, and the tough experience of falling short in the semifinals in previous years, we finally broke the spell: HIB Academy e.V., together with our partner school, the Elite School of Sports Alter Teichweg (StS ATw), has officially won this year’s jr.NBA Championship!

Competing as the Phoenix Suns, our team put on an absolute masterclass at the Inselpark Arena in Wilhelmsburg. Playing with incredible heart, pure determination, and outstanding teamwork, the kids remained undefeated throughout the entire season and the entire tournament, crowning a flawless season in the grand finale against the Charlotte Hornets. The reward for this passionate battle: the official, highly coveted jr.NBA Championship rings!

This title belongs to the incredible, long-term cooperation between the HIB Academy and the Elite School of Sports. A massive thank you goes out to all the players, the entire coaching and support staff, and everyone who never stopped believing in this success. The semifinal curse is history – we are the champions!
