HIB Academy Travel Team
Your dream: Experience basketball – where it all began.
With the HIB Academy Travel Team, we offer committed players a truly special opportunity: a 10–14-day sports and cultural trip to the USA – the birthplace of basketball.
The Travel Team is not a typical selection team. It’s about more than just skill – it’s about initiative, team spirit, and the willingness to grow. Participation is by application only and requires players to actively contribute to the trip’s funding, for example through sponsorships, fundraising activities, or personal contributions.
What can participants expect?
Intense training sessions and scrimmages with U.S. teams
Visits to high schools, colleges, and basketball academies
Insight into the American school and sports system
Exchange with local coaches and athletes
Cultural excursions and team-building experiences off the court
The goal of the project is to give young people a life-changing experience – both athletically and personally. The journey is meant to inspire, motivate, and open new horizons, helping players set long-term goals on and off the court.
